The CONFAST 3/16" x 3-1/4" Blue Steel Flat Phillips Concrete Screw Anchor provides a reliable fastening solution for concrete, block, and brick applications in dry environments. Each box contains 100 durable carbon steel anchors, along with a drill bit for convenient installation. These blue self-tapping anchors feature a flat countersunk Phillips head that sits flush with the surface, requiring a #2 Phillips bit for driving. The diamond point design allows for easier installation by tapping threads directly into masonry. A 5/32" hole must be drilled using an ANSI concrete bit (included) into the base material, ensuring a minimum 1" embedment for secure fastening, and can accommodate fixture thicknesses between 1-3/4" and 2-1/4". The overall length of the anchor is 3-1/4". The length of the threads on the anchor is 1-3/4" in length. The hole in the fixture or material being fastened must be larger than the designated diameter of the anchor. The 3/16" diameter anchor requires the hole in the fixture to be 1/4". Each anchor must be spaced a minimum distance of 3" from each other when measured center to center. It is very important not to install the anchor any closer than 2-1/4" from an unsupported edge of the concrete.
