Poor or improper insertion of the fuse can result in failure of the fuse and holder, thus not protecting the device for which it was intended. Fuses Not Included. When selecting a fuse holder, always match the device to the wire being fused. Using an undersized fuse holder will increase electrical resistance in the circuit and reduce performance.
