The SprayMax 1K Gravel-Chipguard Grey is a high-performance protective auto primer engineered to shield automotive underbody and lower vehicle areas from extreme mechanical and chemical stress. Its rubber-reinforced synthetic resin base provides exceptional elasticity and abrasion resistance, making it ideal for wheel housings, rocker panels, sills, lower doors and bumpers. Excellent adhesion on steel, galvanized steel, aluminum, FRP, polyester, E-coat, and properly prepared old paint — ensuring reliable results across multiple substrates. The product applies easily with 2–3 spray passes and dries dust-free within approx. 2 hours, fully curing after 24 hours (as noted on page 3 of the TDS). Once dry, it can be finished with 1K and 2K paint systems, making it a versatile solution for automotive professionals.
