About Bob Schueler

Bob Schueler is a retired mental health program designer and administrator who writes mystery and suspense novels set in that world. His first, The 25 Years, averaged 4.9 stars in 22 reviews on Amazon. He has written short stories and blogs and has had six letters to the editor published in the Boston Globe. A sequel, Second Chances, is scheduled for release on July 19th by Koehler Books, and a further sequel is nearing completion. He is a founding member of the Sweetwater Draft Society, a group of Boston area novelists. He has written several short stories, has had six letters to the editor published in The Boston Globe, and blogs here. He is married and living in Arlington Massachusetts.

After more than 23 years living in a group home, Paul is stuck, without confidence or self-regard, frightened and resigned to a limited life when he and two friends witness a politician accepting a bribe. Soon bad things start to happen. Paul’s life goes from stultifying to terrifying, and he is forced back on his younger self to find the resources he needs to survive.
